First you write down you're question my one was 2/3 of 12. Then I got the 3 and 12 and made it in to 3 x ? = 12 . The answer is 4 . But the question was 2/3 of 12 so just double the 4 and so the answer is 8.
This is a really clear explanation Bella - well done. You obviously understand what the denominator and numerator mean. You have used your times tables to help you which is great. This is a good reason to keep learning your tables so you can do the same sort of problems but with bigger numbers like 2/9 of 81. keep it up Bella, you are doing really well. Mr M.
