2012 reflection

Right now it is time for me to look back at my time at Vardon school. 
One of my favourite highlights was winning the speeches. My topic was a good choice because noone really knew what the Nazca lines were , that way people would want to listen more. It was a lot of hard work, but in the end it was all worth it. My second favourite highlight was the production I was the main mermaid in the production. It was cool being one of the main characters, but it was hard having to give up my breaks. And my last highlight was just being at Vardon school. And now I'm ready for next year. I can't wait for next year. Most of my friends are going to this school and I've heard its a really good school so I'm really excited.

The other week room 15  did a collage. A collage is when you put a group people faces together. Like this one. Some of them look like one persons face, when others look like a jumble of face put together (which it was.)  first Mr M ( my teacher ) put a big pile of people's faces striped into five bits. Our job was to fined five different striped of peoples faces.Then stick them onto a paper and their you go that's how esay it is.

The great egg drop challenge.

A few days ago Mr M told the class we were going to do a great egg drop challenge. At first I had no idea what it was we were going to। I new it had something to do an egg and maybe it dropping, but except for that I had no idea. In the end we had to make a shelled around it to make it stop craking.Then we will go out side and Mr m will drop the egg and see if it will brake.My groups plan was to rap the egg in news paper using in very little salter tape.Then cut up the straw and stick it all over the egg.In the end we wasted to must tape on the news paper and did not have enough tape for the straws.We also did not have enough news paper on the egg.It was time fore the egg drop the moment everyone was waiting fore.It was the first gropes tern splat went the egg. It was my groups Tean. I covered my ears because I did not want to hear the cracker,but I new it wouldn't do any good so I screamed when Mr m dropped it. It was a bit inbarsing but when Mr m open all the news paper it had crack.It was the last teams tern.All the other egg had cracked.Mr m Dropped the egg. Someone said they head a cracker. Another person said they did not and they were right.

What is a 2/3 of 12

First you write down you're question my one was 2/3 of 12. Then I got the 3 and 12 and made it in to 3 x ? = 12 . The answer is 4 . But the question was 2/3 of 12 so just double the 4 and so the answer is 8.

Hi.My name is Bella.
Today I 'm going to tell you about Kaleidoscope and if you want to make it, you've come to the right place.
First you need to find a pitcher. It can be any pitcher you want. Even if it's the crazies pitcher you've ever seen, it will still tern out great.
Then on you're laptop, you're computer or you're net book you have to reflective it.
Next you have to copy about 20 copy's. (Enough to take up a Piece of A4 paper)
Now cut out every pitcher.
Last make a Paton with the pitchers ( You can use my one example) and glue them on a pieces of A4 paper.

Discovery Speech

My speech was on the Nazca lines.When you're looking at the Nazca lines on the ground they look like a bunch on lines, but when you're looking at them from up in the air they look like animals and other creations.I chose this topic because when Mr Marquand showed us a YouTube video of the Nazca lines I thought they were amazing.Before my speech I felt nervous because I thought I would forget my speech,luckily I didn't forget my speech and I made it in to the speech semi finials then into the finals.After doing my speech I was glad that I did it and I was also glad that all the hard work paid off.Next time I will speak louder and use more gestures. ANZAC and WAR

Hi, my name is Bella as you may already know. Today I'm going to talk about war.

Some of the things I learnt was that ANZAC day started with remembering world war one.
 I also found out that Grandad and grate grandad  were both in the war.

The thing I found most  interesting was that when Grandad write leaders to his mum he told her that he was just working as a orderly in the hospital and that he was not in the danger zone.

One thing we do not realise is that wars are going on this minters. Maybe a person each second is dieing from war but we cant see it.
